New Credit Card Laws

I found the following article on walletpop.com and thought it was very interesting. Let's hope President Obama will get it passed by the end of May, as he plans to do.

http://www.walletpop.com/credit/credit-cards/article/_a/bbdp/what-the-cardholder-law-means-to-you/490579?icid=mainmaindl5link7http%3A%2F%2Fwww.walletpop.com%2Fcredit%2Fcredit-cards%2Farticle%2F_a%2Fbbdp%2Fwhat-the-cardholder-law-means-to-you%2F490579

One thing the article doesn't mention is how much one person can have in available credit. I think that's the real issue with Americans today. We build up so much credit card debt, because credit card companies don't have a good program in place to stop you from getting more credit. There needs to be something in the law about that. Maybe I'll send a letter to President Obama with my opinion?

Bailout Our Children!

We all remember the horrifying story of Adam Walsh, abducted in 1981, whose severed head was found 120 miles from his abduction. His body has never been found.

In 2006, Adam's Law was signed into act but in July of this year Adam's Law may be tossed out if they can not get funding. Thanks to Oprah, she's on a mission to get the necessary funding to keep the act in place. Please go to the following website, and help support our children by sending letters to your State Senators and Congressmen/Women. http://www.oprah.com/article/oprahshow/20090220-tows-adam-walsh-act/2 We're bailing out Wall Street, but what better investment in our countries future than bailing out our Children.
